Welcome to Wales and the Brecon Beacons National Park, one of the most beautiful areas in Britain, full of adventure, heritage, mountainous landscapes, nature and a recognised international Dark Skies reserve – as a visitor you have many options to fill your time with us!
This is a perfect tranquil location for you to “get-away” to relax, unwind and marvel at our countryside for a few days or a week or two. It is the perfect base from which to explore the area and enjoy the varied local action-packed activities. Or why not stay with us to visit Hay Literary Festival in May and June, just 15 minutes’ drive away, or book a few days to visit the Royal Welsh Show at Builth Wells in July? Brecon Jazz festival is also a popular date in the annual calendar!
Our lovely shepherds huts and gypsy caravan-style hut are situated on a traditional Breconshire working farm with sheep, lambs, cattle all overlooking superb views of the mountains. This beautiful rural retreat is set in idyllic landscape between the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains and overlooked by Mynydd Troed rising to 2,000ft. You are within walking distance (1 mile) of Llangorse village and Llangorse Lake (Llyn Syfaddan), the largest natural lake in South Wales.
